T206 Tobacco Baseball Card Basics

In T206 Tobacco Baseball Card Basics Part 2, we discuss the different series/factory variations of each back.  There were different factories, each given a number, which manufactured and distributed the packs of tobacco and their T206 baseball cards for the various tobacco brands.  There is differing rarity to these factories which impacts the value and population for the card.  Additionally, there are different "series" of print runs which grew over time from 150 cards to 350 cards, to 460 cards; the series also determines the rarity and desirability of these cards for particular collectors.

In T206 Tobacco Baseball Card Basics Part 1 we discuss the 16 different back variations that represent the various brands of tobacco that these vintage T206 cards were distributed in.  We will show examples of all backs, analyze the rarity of the backs, and give some information and context around each.
